We are
looking for 100 volunteers who are willing to
put this affirmation to the test!
Even
though this situation looks bad (or hopeless or
endless)
I am opening a Window of Possibility to an
unexpected outcome.
For almost 30
years I have been privileged to participate in
many "miracles." Until recently, I would not
even speak about them--they seemed too
"woo-woo"--you know what I mean. However, once I
began to understand the science behind
miracles--quantum physics--I gained a deep
appreciation of "how that happened."
Putting it in
simple terms, quantum physics takes physics to a
higher level--to the nonlinear level. Liner
thinking is good--so is reason and scientific
"proof"--up to a point. To go beyond that point,
one must let go of the need to find a cause for
every effect. For centuries, people called this
"faith." When they were able to believe that
someone or something greater than them was
capable of supernatural intervention, they
prayed and pleaded for a miracle.
Today, through
understanding how the Law of Attraction and
quantum physics work together, we can open our
hearts and minds to greater possibilities than
ever before. Here's a metaphor that has helped
many of my students understand the relationship
between the two:
Picture a
diamond. As you know, a diamond has many facets
and we appreciate the brilliance the facets
produce. Well, every situation is like a
diamond, except that we are usually focused on
only ONE facet-the one that is nearest to us-the
one that is right in front of us. We forget that
there are many, many more facets to this
situation-and each facet would produce a
different outcome.
So, let me
illustrate this by telling you a true story.
This happened last year, so it is still fresh in
my mind.
I've spent the
last 10 years developing the software behind the
Law of Attraction Training Center's TeleClass
Catalog. I've hired several programmers to work
with me in creating an easy-to-use online
registration system that does not require human
intervention. It has many layers and although
simple to use, the logic behind it is very
complex. Each time I've hired a new programmer
he has insisted on re-creating the entire
program from the ground up. This is a HUGE
undertaking and it takes a LOT of time and
energy to rebuild the system-I know-I've done it
four times. The last time I rebuilt it was in
2002 and although it was never completely done
and never working the way I wanted and I
experienced a high level of stress with this
programmer, I put up with it for five years!
Why? Because I could only see one "facet", one
solution-I would have to find yet another
programmer and start from the ground up
AGAIN!
So, month
after month, I put up with inferior service and
unimaginable frustration. Until one day, the
programmer gave me a real blast! He took the
gloves off and insulted me, my work, the Law of
Attraction-pretty well everything he could think
of. That was THE END of our relationship. I
fired him pretty well on the spot-well, through
email.
Now, I was
forced to find a new programmer-knowing how
poorly my last choice had worked out, I decided
to ask the Source for help: "I need a new
solution!" That was my prayer and my mantra for
about a week. And then I heard a little voice
inside my head, "Ask Peter." Peter goes to my
church and I barely knew him, but because that
voice (my higher Self really) told me to ask
him, I did.
"Peter, do you
know of a good programmer? I want one who is
experienced and has a good work
record."
Peter replied,
"Hmmm, yes, I just rented a duplex to a young
man in the IT industry. I'll send you his phone
number and email."
I followed up
on that one lead and met with the young man at a
local coffee shop. I'll call him "Jay" although
that is not his real name.
For some
reason, I asked him where he had lived before
renting Peter's duplex. He said, "We lived on
Craigflower Rd."
"I live on
Craigflower Rd. Where on Craigflower did you
live?"
"In the
Ironwood condos on Gorge Vale Golf
Course."
"I live in the
Ironwood condos! Which building were you
in?"
"Something
like Dorval
"
"Doral?"
"Yes, that was
it."
"I live in the
Doral! What number was your unit?"
"107," Jay
replied.
"I live in
207. You were right below me for how
long?"
"Two
years."
Think of it! I
had suffered unnecessarily for at least two
years! All those months I had tolerated an
intolerable situation while the answer was
literally under my feet!!
Now, take a
fresh look at the affirmation we are using
during this 30-Day Experiment: Even though this
situation looks bad (or hopeless or endless) I
am opening a Window of Possibility to an
unexpected outcome.
Yes!!! That's
what I did when I asked for a "new solution."
And the outcome? This young man is a Microsoft
engineer. In five months he did more for my
software than the previous programmer did in
five years! He has completely relieved me of the
stress I bore for way too long! He is a complete
JOY to work with.
Now, that's
the kind of miracle I want for each person who
joins our 30-Day Miracle Experiment!
